  - Medially - hyoglossus ( मध्यवर्ती संबंध जिह्वकंठिका )
  - Above - lingual nerve with submandibular ganglion ( ऊपर जिह्व तंत्रिका )
  - Below - hypoglossal nerve ( नीचे अधःजिह्व कपाल तंत्रिका )
SUBMANDIBULAR duct or whartons duct
- Thin ( पतला )
- Emerges at anterior end of deep part of gland ( गंभीर भाग के अग्र छोर से निकलता हैं )
  - Runs forward on hyoglossus between lingual and hyoglossus nerve
- Anterior border ( अग्र किनारा )
  - Crossed by lingual nerve ( जिह्वतंत्रिका के द्वारा पार किया जाता है )
- Opens
  - On floor of mouth ( मुह के तल में खुलता हैं )
    - On summit of sublingual papilla
      - At side of frenulum of tongue (बाजु में )
