- CORPUS CALLOSUM ( महासंयोजिका )
- largest commissure of brain ( सबसे विशाल )
- connects cerebral cortex of two cerebral hemispheres
- connects all parts of neocortex except lower and anterior parts of temporal lobes
- connected by anterior commissure
- External Features
- floor of longitudinal cerebral fissure ( मस्तिष्क खात के तल में रहता है )
- forms an arched interhemispheric bridge
- connecting medial surfaces of two cerebral hemispheres ( दो मध्य स्तर को जोड़ता हैं )
- forms roof of lateral ventricles ( पार्श्व विलय का छत बनाता हैं )
- lies 4cm behind frontal pole ( 4 cm पीछे ललाट खंड से )
- 6cm in front of posterior pole( 6 cm आगे पश्च खंड से )

- concave inferior aspect of corpus callosum ( निम्न स्तर )
